REOPENING WEDNESDAY 2ND DECEMBER
It is all so depressing and so confusing!!!
So with the news that we are now in tier two until at least the 16th December this means that sadly no longer will you be able to meet up with friends inside the pub for a meal or for a drink. You can now only have alcohol with a substantial meal.
The rule is that you can’t socialise indoors with anyone you do not live with, or who is not in your support bubble
However the rules for meeting outside are a little more relaxed but not much fun in the middle of December! We do have our marquee and thatched hut that can be booked for up to 6 people– but due to the regulations the sides must remain open. So although they are heated you will need to wrap up warmly!!
We are busy moving furniture (again!!) we are changing larger tables to smaller ones so we can fit in as many small groups in as possible and have decided from 2nd December we will continue with our takeaways Mon – Sat evening 5.30pm until 7pm. Fish and chips, Dexter burgers and homemade pies - so even if you can't join us in the pub you can still enjoy the food!!
Things are changing all the time so will keep you updated whenever we can.

Built in 1840, The Rockingham Arms is a cosy old village pub full of character.
Traditional values and a warm welcome, serving comforting home cooked food, real ales, great wines and good coffee.
And our back garden leads straight onto the beautiful Canada Common, a National Heritage area.
We are a very dog friendly pub, and happy to take bookings in the Bar area for you and your 4 legged friends.
