Re Opening April 12th (Outside only)
We are so looking forward to being up and running again- its been a long hard Winter for all of us!
We will be opening Monday 12th April (for food as well as just drinks) but as we can only serve outside and only table service,
it will be on a skeleton staff and a much reduced menu (whilst restrictions exist).
We will use our two marquees and thatched hut (these can be booked in advance), plus we have other tables outside with parasols (although these tables can only be booked on the day)
We need to adhere to the law so it is a MAXIMUM of 6 people or two households which are allowed –
we have decided this will be a maximum of 8 as that is the largest table available.
Please don’t ask to book two lots of tables next to each other as it puts us in an impossible situation and is against the law.
We will be fully open inside on May 17th (still with restrictions and as long as the government says we can) until the 21st June when we may be back to some sort of normality – customers standing at the bar, no laminated menus, no facemasks, the table can be set before you sit and you can start to enjoy pubs in the way you should!!
So many ifs, buts and maybes but there is hope and that’s wonderful.
Take care and cant wait to see you!!

Built in 1840, The Rockingham Arms is a cosy old village pub full of character.
Traditional values and a warm welcome, serving comforting home cooked food, real ales, great wines and good coffee.
And our back garden leads straight onto the beautiful Canada Common, a National Heritage area.
We are a very dog friendly pub, and happy to take bookings in the Bar area for you and your 4 legged friends.
