The Rockingham Arms was recently acquired by the family run Country Inns Group whose main priority is always you – the customer. Our whole team genuinely care that you have a good time with us from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Our relaxed ambience is complimented by our delicious food and quality real ales and wines.
History
The Rockingham Arms in Canada, Hampshire, began life in the 19th century as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel, serving the quiet hamlet on the edge of the New Forest. Although It was built in the 19th century as a chapel, it was never used for worship; and later served as a school and then as an alcohol store. This quaint quintessential public house has had many friendly loving owners that has given it the reputation it has today as being one of the most hospitable pubs in the area. Now a part of the Country Inns Group The pub welcomes cyclists, walkers, muddy boots and dogs whatever the season.
